Effects Project: Babylon Fuzz MkIII
After much sidelining of this circuit, I've decided to do it up good and proper. I took the old circuit, added a ripple cap and polarity diode (and also a current-limiting resistor), and also added a switch for adding/removing clipping diodes. I think the switch would also work well as a diode blend pot.
Without the diodes, it's LOUD AS GOD and can be used to push a tube amp. With the diodes, the sustain approaches that of the BSIAB. It's quite versatile and can act as a lower-gain overdrive with the guitar's volume rolled off a bit.
As usual for me, the design is frill-free. :)
PCB layout is verified and good to go. There is also a vero layout in the artwork zip; it's not verified but appears to be correct.

Here is a Build Document and also a zip file of just the artwork.
